This role will manage the activities of the Accounts Payable department, this includes timely processing of payables following established guidelines and procedures and maintain customer-vendor relations. The Manager of Accounts Payable is responsible for the daily management of the accounts payable team, as well as address and resolve any vendor, lender, funder, and internal personnel issues.

Pay: $70,000 - 90,000 salary

Duties:

• Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Provide support and guidance to property or developer staff, and ensure proper submission, processing, funding, and budget for all transactions.
• Manage all accounts payable systems, ensure proper set-up for vendors, and resolve any issues.
• Supervise assigned staff in daily operations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all AP accounting functions.
• Participate in preparing operations budget for departments and monitor spending for adherence to budget.
• Provide audit support.
• Provide guidance and support to all staff concerning technology tools in processing payables.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years in accounts payable experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and computerized accounting applications
